Iraq Star: Plastic Surgery for a Good Cause

Iraq Star (www.iraqstar.org)is a charity founded by an R.N. that has spent many years in the cosmetic surgical industry.
Her charity serves those who are damaged in the Iraq war who were merely slapped back together in the heat of battle but who arent functioning like they should be.

Maggie Lockridge, R.N., has been administering to the needs of the cosmetic surgical patient for the past eighteen years. She graduated as a Registered Nurse from St. Elizabeth''s Hospital in Boston, MA in 1963. Maggie worked in the operating room of Sloan Memorial Cancer Research Hospital in N.Y.C. She joined the U.S.A.F.N.C. in 1966 and married a fighter pilot in 1967. They were blessed with two beautiful children and raised them in Hawaii.

In 1986 she moved to LA and spent the next seven years as Charge Nurse and then Administrator of Le Petit Ermitage, what was then Beverly Hills leading cosmetic surgery recovery retreat, located in the exclusive L''Ermitage Hotel

In 1993 Le petit closed it''s doors and Maggie opened Chantique in 1994, Maggie put together a warm and nurturing staff to tend to her guests'' every need, Chantique offered its services to the patients of more than sixty cosmetic surgeons, Maggie oversaw the needs of guests from around the country and from every corner of the world. Some of Maggie''s Beverly Hill''s guests stayed with her several times over the eighteen years and she was referred to by writers as "The most recognized and least acknowledged woman in Beverly Hills."
Over the course of the next five years she kept notes on the various experiences she had while Administrator of her business. Some days she went home still laughing from the days events. Other evenings she would crawl home after a fourteen hour day of one dramatic situation after another requiring her skills as a nurse, negotiator, mediator, problem solver,
Etc. Maggie found herself retired with enough notes to format a very funny, dramatic, educational, and informative book.

Maggie took the knowledge of her eighteen years of caring for the Beverly Hills
cosmetic surgeon’s patients and compiled data on her favorite surgeons. She provides you with their education, certifications, and exactly what procedures they excel at. No where else could you obtain this information in one source. Read and benefit.

She named her book “Facelift Hotel” because the title made her laugh and she hopes it will make you laugh too.

Sales of her book "Facelift Hotel" are 100% donated to the Iraq Star (www.iraqstar.org) charity for wounded soldiers.
